Process service also known as “service of process” is the procedure employed to give an appropriate notice of initial legal action to another party (such as a defendant), court or administrative body in an effort to exercise jurisdiction over that person so as to enable that person to respond to the proceeding before the court, body, or other tribunal. Notice is furnished by delivering a set of court documents (called “process”) to the person to be served.

I have always been curious about how the process service took place. I have certainly heard about process servers delivering legal documents to individuals. It was interesting to learn that there were so many different situations that require process server. 11/15/2017 08:44:41 am

My sister and her husband decided to separate and they want everything to be done well. It was explained here that they need to hire process service for the documents. Moreover, it's advisable to only hire professional process services to make sure that everything is well. Leave a Reply. |
